Sierra Negra & Chico Volcano
Highlighted among the best treks in South America, this is a hike of approximately 5 hours and 16 km on a flat road, with few ups and downs. Our adventure begins in the foothills of the Sierra Negra volcano, 800 meters above sea level. During the journey there are five stops: at the beginning there are two stops to have a panoramic view of the crater of the volcano, one more at the small volcano and two more stops for lunch and hydration. When you enter the small volcano, which is inside the crater of the volcano, you will notice that it is still active and many fumaroles feel hot. At the end of the tour you will reach one of the most fascinating viewpoints, where you will surely think you are "On Mars".

Minas de Azufre crosses the western side of the caldera of the Sierra Negra volcano.
